This book provides guidance in the development of communication and study skills to students studying at tertiary level. It contains information that is intended to assist both first and second language learners develop tools for effective spoken and written communication.
It is also divided into chapters. Each chapter represents a major sub- discipline which is divided into units. Each unit has the following features:
an introduction and explanation of the main topic and its related sub- topics;
examples and illustrations that facilitate the application of content presented
exercises for practice and to test understanding of the skills/ information discussed in each unit.
